Here's exactly what I can build for you.

I spent 15 years building financial systems for Apple and Meta. Every service here applies that same rigor — custom to your business, practical to use, and built around how you actually operate.

01

02
Expense Audit and Waste Analysis
Find what's leaking. Keep more of what you earn.

Every business has expenses that made sense when they were added and quietly stopped making sense months later. Subscriptions that auto-renew. Vendors whose rates crept up. Tools that nobody uses anymore. A line item that used to be $80 and is now $240. Most business owners can feel that something is off they just don't have a clear picture of exactly where.

This service is a structured review of where every dollar is going, with a clear output: what's earning its place, what isn't, and what to do about it. Most clients find at least one meaningful savings opportunity in the first pass.

  • Full review of all recurring expenses and subscriptions
  • Expense categorization and monthly trend analysis
  • Clear breakdown of fixed costs vs. variable costs
  • Specific savings recommendations with estimated annual impact
  • Written summary you can act on immediately

Year-Round Tax Tracking
Tax season stops being stressful. Starting now.

Most business owners don't think about taxes until March. By then, they're scrambling to find receipts, reconstruct months of expenses, and answer their accountant's questions at the worst possible time. The scramble costs time, money, and missed deductions.

This service sets up a system at the start of the year that organizes everything as you go. By the time tax season arrives, everything is already in order. Your accountant gets a clean handoff. You spend less time in that meeting, pay less for it, and don't miss anything.

  • Income and expense tracking organized by tax-relevant categories
  • Receipt and documentation tracking guidance
  • Deductible vs. non-deductible expense flagging
  • Quarterly review check-ins so nothing gets missed
  • Clean summary ready for your accountant when you need it

Income Trend Tracking and Forecasting
See patterns, understand trends, plan ahead.

Comparing months, quarters, and years side by side gives you a much clearer picture of what's actually happening in your business. Where is growth coming from? What's seasonal? Which clients and services are the most reliable?

This service answers those questions with real data. By comparing months, quarters, and years, patterns become visible. Seasonal cycles, growth trends, client concentration risk the things that are obvious in hindsight become plannable in advance.

  • Month-over-month and year-over-year income comparison
  • Revenue by client, service, and category breakdowns
  • Trend identification: what's growing, what's slipping, what's seasonal
  • Forward projections based on historical patterns
  • Revenue concentration analysis so you understand where reliance is high

"Can we try something small first?"
Absolutely — and it's often the right way to start. A small, defined engagement is a low-risk way to see how working together feels. Dashboard cleanup, a one-time expense review, or untangling one reporting problem.
  • Defined scope, clear deliverable
  • Typical duration: 1–2 weeks
  • No commitment to anything after
  • Many pilot projects lead to larger work, when it makes sense for both sides

Common questions

Things people usually ask before starting

Do I need to have my finances organized before getting in touch?
Most people get in touch before things are organized — that's completely fine. Bring whatever you have. Figuring out the right starting point is part of the first conversation.
How long does a typical project take?
It depends on the scope. A 90-minute session is a single call. A custom spreadsheet build usually takes 1–2 weeks. A full dashboard or data infrastructure project runs 4–8 weeks. Every engagement starts with a clear timeline and deliverables agreed upfront.
What tools do you work in?
Whatever makes the most sense for your situation. Google Sheets and Excel for most tracking work. Tableau, Looker Studio, or Power BI for dashboards. SQL, Python, BigQuery, and dbt for more technical data infrastructure. If you're already using a particular tool, I'll build in that. There's no need to switch anything to get started.
Will I be able to maintain what you build without you?
Yes. Every deliverable comes with documentation and a walkthrough. The goal is always something you can own and use independently. Every project includes documentation and a walkthrough.
Do you work with businesses outside Seattle?
Yes. Everything I do is available remotely. I work with clients across all US time zones. In-person work in Seattle is available on request.
What if I'm not sure which service I need?
That's what the 90-minute session is for, and it's also just fine to describe what's going on in your business and let the right scope emerge from the conversation. The contact form asks about your biggest money or time headache start there.
