The story

Built for this work. From the beginning.

I studied accounting not because it was easy, but because I genuinely wanted to understand how money moves through organizations. Numbers aren't abstract to me. They represent decisions, tradeoffs, and the gap between what a business intends to do and what it actually does.

After school, I went into data engineering. I spent over a decade inside Apple and Meta two of the most analytically rigorous companies in the world building the KPI frameworks, pipelines, and reporting infrastructure that let thousands of people make faster, better decisions. At Apple I worked across product, finance, and hardware analytics, supporting a $250M+ portfolio spanning four global regions. At Meta I built ecosystem-level measurement systems and attribution models at scale.

"The most useful thing I can offer is seeing your business from both angles at once. Understanding the numbers and building the systems that surface them clearly. That combination is what I bring to every engagement."

I also have a B.S. in Accounting and spent time at EY early in my career. I understand how financial statements work, how budget tracking should flow, and where most small business finance problems actually come from.

I'm now working independently for the first time, which means I'm selective about who I take on. I'm not trying to build a massive agency. I want to do excellent work for a small number of clients who take their business seriously and who will actually use what I build.

If that sounds like you, a 30-minute call is the right first step.

A few things worth knowing

A few things worth knowing before we work together

01
Finance training and data engineering, together
I studied accounting, so I understand how financial statements work and how numbers should flow through a business. I also spent a decade writing SQL, building pipelines, and designing dashboards at Apple and Meta. Having both in the same engagement means the numbers and the systems that surface them get built together, cohesively.
02
Enterprise-scale experience, right-sized for your business
The measurement frameworks I built at Apple and Meta were designed to help large teams make fast, confident decisions. The same principles apply at any size. I enjoy the process of taking what works at scale and making it practical and usable for a small or growing team.
03
One person, fully accountable
Every project is built by me. You get consistent communication, full context on your business from start to finish, and a single point of contact throughout. If something needs revisiting, we revisit it together.
04
Projects run smoothly with PMP certification
Formal project management training means timelines are set realistically, scope is defined clearly at the start, and any changes get discussed openly before they become issues. It keeps the work from drifting and the experience from becoming stressful.
